Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge is an American actress. She began her career as an actor in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2006) and She's the Man (2006). She was later a reporter Willa McPherson on the FX series Dirt as well as a supporting role in the show that ran for a short time The Ex List. In the first season, she starred in the role of Moira O'Hara, an untried Moira as well as in the season 2, she played Kaylee. She played Jessie Anderson on AMC's The Walking Dead, and Sophie on the NBC series This Is Us. She also voiced a variety of characters from the animated series Family Guy. Since her appearance in 2019, she has been starring in the role of Melinda "Mel" Monroe in the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge resided in Darien, Connecticut, until 10 years old at which point she and her mother moved to California. There, they went through a few different places before finally settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge was first interested in acting, singing, and photography around the age of 13. She relocated to Los Angeles with her mother when she was 15 to pursue her acting career.
