Scarlett Johansson (born November 22 1984 New York City New York, U.S.) American actor and performer whose performance variety earned her acclaim across a range of genres ranging from period drama to action and thriller. Johansson was the daughter of an architect and producer was raised as a child in New York City. Hunter is her twin sister, was born in the City of New York. As a child she was able to begin acting. Actually, at the age of 7, she had already auditioned for several commercials. Her interest in acting grew quickly and she enrolled shortly thereafter in the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. As a child she appeared in Sophistry alongside Ethan Hawke and made her movie debut at Rob Reiner's North at the time of 1994.
